Director of Digital Services

Scope of Work:

  • Lead the development and implementation of the Infront Digital Strategy to ensure the execution of innovative solutions in distribution, monetization, content creation and consumer marketing
  • Oversee all Infront Digital teams in Zug, Milan and Paris and other offices where relevant, consolidating the resources already available throughout the Group and continuing to build the team to support the digital strategy
  • Review and assess additional strategic growth opportunities through M&A, identifying potential targets in close coordination with the business development team, in order to strengthen the Group’s market position and performance in digital media
  • Create and develop new business models and monetization opportunities for the digital platforms built or managed for infront properties (including social media), also interacting with the sponsors and other key revenue generators
  • Strongly support and contribute to the harmonization and the creation of the optimal organization structure to integrate the Infront Digital Solutions team (Zug), Omnigon (N.Y.), the Digital Media Post Production (Milan) and HBS (Paris), as ONE team and foster interactions within the division as well as with other colleagues of the Wanda Sports Group to deliver a “One-Team” effort for digital across key markets: USA, Europe and Asia/China

Your profile:

  • Broad knowledge of digital, sports and media/ entertainment industry, wide interest in other relevant industries (e.g. consumer products, electronics)
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience in business or area of responsibility
  • Very strong analytical skills, strategic and conceptual thinking awareness of group wide implications of specific actions
  • Strong communication skills to senior management members, BoD members and senior external partners
  • Strong leadership skills, especially in motivating other people to achieve their objectives
  • English fluent, other languages (e.g. German, Italian, French, Chinese) would be of advantage
  • Willingness to travel and to spend time abroad if required
  • High degree of awareness on all compliance related matters with special focus on Infront’s Code of Conduct and all related policies
