Your contribution

  • Design, present, develop and implement end-user or enterprise IT solutions of significant complexity according to international client a Service Delivery Team requirements in accordance with global standards
  • Develop strategic roadmaps, architecture blueprints and solutions for the IT services such as Digital Workplace, Collaboration, Connectivity, Networking, Compute and Databases to support the Business’s growth
  • Consultancy for internal and client teams and key person for projects and initiatives (e.g. business development, service improvement, operations excellence, etc.)
  • Member of the Change Advisory board to assess impact of changes and support for Service Management activities such as incident and problem reviews, KPI tracking and Service improvement plans
  • Ensure business continuity, monitoring and security to operate on the highest level of quality (availability, capacity, performance) of a enterprise 7×24 environment in a two-site active/active setup with additional cluster functionalities to meet highest SLA’s
  • Establish a governance of continuously improving and extending services to meet the client requirements
  • Work with vendors, partners and the global community to keep up-to-date with current and future technologies, products and strategies

Your capabilities and talents

  • A successful computer science education (University, Technical College etc.) supplemented with a degree in economics and/or project management is a plus
  • Architecture and design level expertise of the various IT Infrastructure and Workplace technologies such as virtualization, compute, storage & backup, network, collaboration and workplace
  • Minimum of 5 years IT experience in an enterprise sized commercial organization and a minimum 2 years in a consultancy or technical architecture role
  • Ability to assimilate information quickly clearly identify key issues and present information concisely, proven problem solving experience and analytical skills
  • High motivation and ability to work under pressure with high sense of responsibility and quality
  • Very strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills across management, technical, cultural and country boundaries, in consequences fluent in English (German and/or French is a plus)
