    Are you driven by a deep passion for revolutionizing the world of digital identities? Join our team of 10 employees as a DevOps Engineer and play a key role in transforming federated identity and access management. In this meaningful position, you will have the opportunity to work in an inspiring environment, collaborating with like-minded individuals to shape the future of secure digital interaction in academia.

    DevOps Engineer (80–100% – all genders)

    Your main tasks are

    • You actively contribute to the development of one of the largest identity systems in Switzerland.
    • You will improve our digital identity solutions, in particular Switch edu-ID, eduroam and Switch Sign, and ensure operational excellence. You will support us in expanding our services to cloud-native environments using state-of-the-art technologies.
    • You identify, analyze and solve problems and work with your team to further develop our solutions. Additionally, you coordinate adjustments and initiatives to ensure a seamless change management process.
    • You will acquire expertise in our service landscape and thereby support our customers in connecting to our identity network. In doing so, you also influence the identity and security architecture of our partner organizations.
    • You participate in 2nd/3rd level support and iteratively improve the products based on direct customer feedback.

    What you bring

    • A university degree in computer science or comparable qualifications as well as good expertise in DevOps engineering.
    • A deep understanding of authentication and authorization as well as a solid knowledge of established protocols (SAML, OIDC).
    • Knowledge of Linux, Git (Gitlab), Ansible, Docker, Kubernetes, and general DevOps practices. Good programming skills are an advantage.
    • An open mindset and the passion to further develop our unique products together with the team. A general interest in identity-based solutions and the future of identity systems is a must.
    • Good communication in English is a must. German (preferred), French or Italian is an advantage.
