As the M365 & Azure Administrator you will be responsible for building, maintaining and implementing MS 365 & Azure services in the existing environment and act as the first contact person for exchanging and collaborating with the (international) team regarding the cloud environment. Administration and automation of MS 365 & Azure tools and services will be a part of your daily tasks. The operational, administrative support of the applications in the cloud, troubleshooting, implementation of new tools and M365 functions, 2nd and 3rd level support complete your profile.

You will be part of a global ICT team, reporting to the Head of Infrastructure and Services Management. The preferred location for this role is Germany or Liechtenstein, with frequent office visits to designated local sites in Alzenau, Brüggen or Gamprin-Bendern.

ICT Cloud Administrator – M365 & Azure (100%)

Daily tasks and responsibilities:

  • Planning, implementation and development of M365/Azure Services
  • Continuous improvement and automation of the deployed systems
  • IT Security: Planning, implementation, administration and further development of security standards
  • Artificial Intelligence: Implementation, providing an overview, defining guidelines, creating and checking technical requirements
  • Monitoring of incidents
  • Partial support of colleagues in Microsoft basic operations
  • Communication with users and internal departments
  • Evaluation of newest technologies for use in IT
  • Development and maintenance of M365 security features (Cloud App Security, ATA…)
  • Managing M365 applications administration interfaces (Sharepoint, Teams, Security, Compliance…)
  • Maintenance and implementation of third-party software (IAM, project planning software, etc.)

Key skills and qualifications:

  • Several years of experience in a similar role, where you were responsible for analysing complex problems and customer inquiries around IT products and IT systems, developing problem solutions and their implementation
  • Completed IT education combined with few years of relevant work experience
  • You are able to execute software projects according to customer requirements, deliver end user trainings, monitor the connected systems and create correct documentation
  • You present strong interpersonal skills to assist non-technical individuals with complex issues
  • With this international position, your readiness to travel occasionally is a must
  • You communicate fluently in English, both writing and speaking. All other Teknos-languages are welcomed
